Kirkus and BluInk Reviews

Kirkus Reviews is a book review magazine based in New York City. Kirkus Reviews offers annual Kirkus Prize to authors of fiction, non-fiction, young readers’ literature. The magazine is founded in 1933 by Virginia Kirkus. Everything the Kirkus Reviews stands for – integrity, honesty and accessible reviews writer with an insider’s eye, was inspired by its founder Virginia Kirkus. It is an honor for authors having created Kirkus reviews as its build their pride in becoming published authors/writers.

Meanwhile, Blue Ink Reviews functions the same as Kirkus in terms of providing platforms for authors in promoting their books through featured articles and mainly book reviews. Moreover, Blue Ink prides on their extensive roster of well-vetted and thoughtful critics – all with proven track records in mainstream publishing.

Aside from creating critiques, Blue Ink wants to serve also as a platform for aspiring writers and book enthusiast in creating community that shares ideas, tips and resources relevant to writing and book publishing.
